EAGLE, ID — Mar. 23, 2026 — Spitfire Tacos + Tequila announces the launch of The Tacocktail Trail, a year-long series of limited-edition taco drops, seasonal margarita pairings, and monthly Taco Tuesday launch events designed to introduce a new kind of dining experience to the Treasure Valley. A 4× Boise Favorites Award winner via Idaho Statesman, Spitfire continues to push beyond traditional restaurant concepts with this new program.
Running from April through December 2026, the series introduces a new Taco of the Month alongside a custom margarita pairing, revealed at a themed Taco Tuesday party held the first Tuesday of each month at Spitfire Eagle.
Rather than a static menu addition, The Tacocktail Trail is built as a recurring experience that evolves, giving guests a reason to return for new flavors, themed events, and the chance to win big. Every month.
The concept reflects Spitfire’s broader philosophy: globally inspired, intentionally inauthentic tacos built to stand apart. As new restaurant concepts continue to enter the Eagle market, the brand positions itself not as another taco spot,it’s a place built on what’s next, giving people a reason to keep coming back.
“Eagle didn’t need another taco spot. It needed a point of view,” said Scott Slater, founder of Spitfire Tacos + Tequila. “We didn’t come here to replicate what already exists. We built something globally inspired, intentionally different, and designed to evolve.”
Each month of the Tacocktail Trail delivers a limited-edition taco available for one month only, a seasonal margarita pairing revealed at the launch event, and a First Taco Tuesday party featuring DJs, tequila tastings, and themed activations tied to the flavor profile of the drop. The structure is intentionally built to create anticipation, routine, and community participation.

The Tacocktail Trail officially launches Tuesday, April 7 from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Spitfire Eagle with a kickoff event themed “Verde Rooftop Party.” The night marks the debut of April’s Taco of the Month, the Poblano Cheesesteak Taco, alongside the reveal of its seasonal margarita pairing.

The campaign also introduces the Tacocktail Trail Challenge, a contest component that encourages guests to post their taco and cocktail experience on Instagram for a chance to win monthly surprise prizes and end-of-year grand prizes. Guests will be eligible for grand prizes including free tacos for a year, $100 gift cards, and a test kitchen experience where they help create and name a future taco.
