Spitfire Tacos + Tequila Launches “Ignite the Cause,” to Support Idaho Nonprofits

The neighborhood taco spot is igniting generosity and bold flavor across Idaho with its new dine-and-donate program and holiday partnership fighting hunger.

EAGLE, ID – Spitfire Tacos + Tequila is proud to introduce Ignite the Cause, a new community partnership initiative supporting Idaho nonprofits, schools, and local organizations through simple, high-impact dine-and-donate nights.

Through Ignite the Cause, local groups can host a fundraiser at Spitfire, invite their supporters, and receive 10 percent of all food and beverage sales generated during their event

“At Spitfire, food has always been our language of community,” said Scott Slater, Owner of Spitfire Tacos + Tequila. “Ignite the Cause is about bringing people together to fuel real change and celebrate the community that feeds us by feeding it right back.”

More Than a Meal: Food Drive for Idaho Families
As part of the program’s kickoff, Spitfire has teamed up with the Idaho Foodbank to fight hunger during the giving season. Donation stations are now live at both Eagle and McCall locations, where guests can drop off canned and non-perishable goods through the end of the year. Donate a few cans, fuel a family, and help Idaho shine a little brighter this season.

How it Works

Hosting a fundraiser with Spitfire is easy. Apply online in two minutes, pick your date, and we’ll team up to make it happen. Approved partners get co-branded assets and marketing support to help spread the word. Good food, great people, bigger purpose - it all starts here.

• Organizations apply through Spitfire’s website.
  

• Once approved, they select their preferred date and location (Eagle or McCall).
  

• Spitfire provides co-branded promotional assets and event-day guidance.
  

• Guests dine as usual, no tickets or codes required.
  

• Spitfire donates 10 percent of that night’s food and beverage sales to the organization.
  

• Donations are issued within 14 days.
  

Eligible partners include schools, PTAs, youth sports programs, literacy and library groups, disability advocacy organizations, food-assistance nonprofits, community gardens, and other community-serving 501(c)(3) groups.
