Spitfire Tacos + Tequila Launches “Ignite the Cause” to Support Idaho Nonprofits

The neighborhood taco spot is igniting generosity and bold flavor across Idaho with its new dine-and-donate program and holiday partnership fighting hunger.

Eagle, ID - November 11 - This season, tacos come with a side of purpose. Spitfire Tacos + Tequila is launching Ignite the Cause on November 11, a dine-and-donate initiative that turns every plate and pour into support for Idaho nonprofits.

Through Ignite the Cause, local organizations can partner with Spitfire for a night of food, fun, and fundraising. Guests simply dine in, and 10 percent of all food and beverage sales go directly to the featured nonprofit.

“At Spitfire, food has always been our language of community,” said Scott Slater, Owner of Spitfire Tacos + Tequila. “Ignite the Cause is about bringing people together to fuel real change and celebrate the community that feeds us by feeding it right back.”

More Than a Meal: Food Drive for Idaho Families

As part of the program’s kickoff, Spitfire has teamed up with the Idaho Foodbank to fight hunger during the giving season. Donation stations are now live at both Eagle and McCall locations, where guests can drop off canned and non-perishable goods through the end of the year. Donate a few cans, fuel a family, and help Idaho shine a little brighter this season.

Giving Tuesday Activation: “Taco ’Bout Giving Back”

Following the November 11 launch, Spitfire will host a special Taco ’Bout Giving Back event on Giving Tuesday (December 2) - a night dedicated to community, connection, and contribution. Local nonprofits nominated by the community will take center stage, with the winning organization receiving 10 percent of all sales, plus 100 percent of proceeds from the seasonal Tacocktail for a Cause.
