Ignite the Cause Partner Acknowledgment Form

Purpose:
Spitfire Tacos + Tequila ("Spitfire") partners with local nonprofit organizations through the Ignite the Cause program to help raise funds and awareness for community initiatives.

1. Eligibility

  • Partner must be a registered nonprofit organization, community group, school, or equivalent.

  • The organization’s mission and activities must align with Spitfire’s community values, which include inclusivity, respect, and non-discrimination.

  • Political campaigns, individuals, or for-profit causes are not eligible.

  • Spitfire reserves the right to verify nonprofit status and decline participation at its discretion.

2. Event Terms

  • Fundraising events must be pre-approved by Spitfire via the Ignite the Cause online form or email confirmation.

  • Spitfire will donate 10% of event-day food and beverage sales generated by verified supporters of the participating organization.

  • Donations are calculated post-tax and exclude alcohol-only purchases, gift cards, or third-party delivery orders.

  • The partner organization agrees to promote the event using accurate, approved messaging provided or approved by Spitfire.

  • Spitfire reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an event if operational or compliance issues arise.

3. Logo and Brand Use

  • Spitfire grants the organization a limited, non-exclusive right to use its logo and brand assets solely to promote the approved event.

  • All materials (print, digital, or social) featuring the Spitfire logo or name must be approved by Spitfire before publication.

  • Use of Spitfire’s brand outside of the event context is prohibited without written consent.

.4. W-9 and Donation Receipt Protocol

  • Participating nonprofits must submit a current IRS Form W-9 to Spitfire before donation funds can be issued.

  • Donation checks will be made payable to the organization name and address listed on the submitted W-9.

  • Upon receiving the donation, the organization must provide Spitfire with a donation acknowledgment letter or receipt within 30 days. This letter should confirm the amount received and state that no goods or services were provided in exchange for the donation, in compliance with IRS charitable contribution requirements.

5. Photo and Video Release

  • The organization grants Spitfire permission to photograph or record event activities for use in marketing, social media, and press coverage.

  • Spitfire may use the organization’s name, logo, and likeness of representatives in print, digital, or broadcast media related to the Ignite the Cause program.

  • The organization waives any right to compensation or approval of materials that include such media.

6. Compliance and Conduct

  • Both parties agree to uphold ethical standards and community safety throughout the partnership.

  • The organization represents that it does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or political affiliation.

  • Spitfire reserves the right to discontinue participation if these standards are violated or if conduct may reflect negatively on the brand.

7. Acknowledgment

By signing below, the organization representative confirms that they:

  • Have read and understood the above terms

  • Are authorized to enter into this partnership on behalf of their organization

  • Agree to comply with Spitfire’s Ignite the Cause guidelines
